Park & Ride 18th – 20th August

Clarecastle GAA Grounds
Starting from Clarecastle GAA grounds, with a pick-up point at Treacys West County Hotel, the drop-off point will be near the Temple Gate Hotel in the town centre. When parking at Clarecastle, you  get a coloured wristband (colours will change day to day) which allows access to the Park & Ride Bus.


St Flannan’s College
For those parking at St. Flannan’s College, the Park & Ride Bus will also be available, but patrons will have a short walk to Treacys West County Hotel to the pick-up point.


Cost & Times

Park & Ride operates daily from 9am from Clarecastle GAA grounds, with last bus leaving Temple Gate Hotel at 1am the following morning. Cost - €5 for Park & Ride.

Park & Stride

Fleadh 2017 is providing three Official car parking sites located within walking distance of the town centre. The sites are at Ennis Showgrounds, St. Flannan’s College and Clare Marts on the Quin Road.

Cost & Times
St. Flannan’s College Car Park will be open from Mon 14th Aug to Sun 20th Aug.
Ennis Showgrounds will be open from Fri 18th Aug to Sun 20th Aug.
Clare Marts Car Parks will be open from Fri 18th Aug to Sun 20th Aug.

Cost €5 for these Car Parks.

Green Fleadh

You can support the Green Fleadh and help reduce the carbon footprint of this event by availing of public transport to come to the Fleadh and to walk, cycle or make use of the shuttle bus service that will be in place between venues, competitions and park and stride / ride locations on the outskirts of Ennis.

Shuttle Bus 18th - 20th August

A free shuttle bus service will operate throughout the weekend of the Fleadh. Fri 18th Aug to Sun 20th Aug from 8am to 2am daily. Shuttle buses will be available to service parts of the inner circulation route and run between Treacys West County Hotel & Auburn Lodge Hotel with a number of pick-up and drop off points in between, at, or close to, competition venues.

Dublin Coach

Dublin Coach are proud to be named as official transport partner to this year’s Fleadh Cheoil in Ennis.


Our M7 Route stops in the heart of Ennis, right in the centre of all the festival venues.

Travel to festival on Dublin Coach with connections to Ennis from:

Limerick, Kildare, Dublin, Bunratty, Dublin Airport, Adare, Newcastle West, Abbeyfeale, Tralee, Killarney, Cork, Dungarvan, Waterford, Kilkenny

Bus Éireann have a wide network of services that can be availed of – including local routes between towns, villages and other hubs in Clare, along with Expressway intercity routes connecting to Ennis.

This includes an extensive range of services between Shannon Airport and Ennis making Shannon an ideal base for international visitors to enjoy the delights of Irish music and culture, over the duration of the Fleadh.
