Dúchas

Dúchas is a group of eight energetic young musicians from Co. Clare, who recently won the prestigious Siansa Gael Linn competition in the National Concert Hall. Their passion lies in traditional music and they have been playing together for almost a decade in 'The Burren' Groups and Bands, led by Garry Shannon. They recently performed at Consairtín, the National Concertina Convention, held in Ennis in April.

All of the group members hold Fleadh Ceoil na hÉireann medals, in solo or group competitions, or both. Their dynamic sound stems from their youth, fusing the ideas of pop and modern music with trad.
