In the last decade, Ennis has quite rightly been described by many as the mecca of traditional music, a title previously reserved for Doolin in the ‘80s or Galway city in the ‘90s.  Many of the country's finest musicians descend upon Ennis regularly to sample the fantastic sessions that happen all over the town on a nightly basis. Ennis has always had a strong native population of musicians, going back many generations, and G'wan the Town! is a celebration of their talent.  

Over 40 of the finest musicians, singers and dancers to be born into Ennis will share the same stage, including Kieran and Mike Hanrahan, Paul Roche, Seamus and John McMahon, Dermot Lernihan, Eamon and Geraldine Cotter, Johnny and Conor McCarthy, plus a host of others, for what promises to be a wonderful night of music, nostalgia and fun.
